Located just outside of Winchester on the Western side of the city, Snowden Bridge is quickly becoming popular with residents moving to the area that still need access to Northern Virginia, DC, and even West Virginia. With quick access to major routes including 7, 81, 50 and 66 as well as smaller routes 522 and 340, Snowden is perfectly situated.

We’ve put together a list of the commuting times it will take to get to key cities in the area. If you are coming from one of these cities you may be surprised it can take you almost the same amount of time as commuting from somewhere closer in to Northern Virginia. When I lived in Springfield it took me 1 hr and 30 mins to get to Washington DC on 395, so it was quite a shock that I could make it there with just a little added time all the way out in Winchester!

You will find that most routes clear once you get past Loudoun and Prince William Counties. Many families choose to move further out as they can afford more house, enjoy lower property taxes and have more open space.
